In her junior year, she was a starter for the first four games of UConn’s season before getting injured. Ducharme was dealing with head and neck injuries as well as a concussion. Ducharme made her season debut on Feb. 22. After that, she played in eight other games.
Ducharme played in the Final Four against the University of California, Los Angeles as well as in the National Championship Game against the University of South Carolina. UConn went on to win the game, and Ducharme became a national champion.
Now, she is a redshirt senior for UConn, and we can’t wait to see how the rest of her season plays out.
