The Boston Banshees kick off their 2026 season tonight at 5:00 ET against the New York Exiles.
Tonight, the Boston Banshees will begin their 2026 season with a matchup against a familiar opponent, the New York Exiles. The Exiles were defeated in the Legacy Cup last season while the Banshees placed fourth in the league with 30 points. The two teams split their series last season 1-1, setting an early statement for this season.
The Exiles enter the season with unfinished business after falling short in the Legacy Cup against the Denver Onyx. On the other side, the Banshees are looking to build off a fourth-place finish. With a stronger foundation and more experience heading into 2026, Boston has a clear opportunity to take a step forward in the standings.
The Banshees recently announced their 2026 roster, highlighted by returning standouts Emily Henrich and Catie Benson, who will play key roles in setting the pace on both ends of the field. Alongside them is a mix of fresh talent and emerging players, giving the Banshees a deeper and more dynamic lineup.
One thing to watch is how quickly this new roster can build chemistry against a team like New York, who has already proved they can compete at a high level.
Kick-off is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET. The game is free to stream on Women’s Sports Network (WSN) and is available on major streaming platforms including Roku, Tubi, Amazon Prime Video, Fubo and many more.
