The Connecticut Sun look to break their losing streak.
The Connecticut Sun will face the Portland Fire on Wednesday night in Portland. The Sun have had a rough start to their season and have been struggling. They are currently 1-7 and last in the league standings.
Aneesah Morrow continues to be a big part of this Sun team, being one of their leading scorers and leading the team in rebounds. In her second season with the Sun, Aaliyah Edwards has been an important part of the team. Another key piece for the Sun is Brittney Griner, but she will be missing her fourth consecutive game. She was ruled out ahead of Wednesday’s game due to her right rib sprain, which she continues to work through.
The Portland Fire is currently 4-3. Carla Leite and Bridget Carleton lead the team in points, both averaging 15.6 points per game.
Tune into the Sun’s game on May 27 at 10 p.m. EST. You can watch the game with the WNBA League Pass on Prime.
