Spring has sprung! And so has another monthly recap! Check it out below.
Boston Fleet:
There is a lot happening for the Boston Fleet this month. The Fleet sailed through the play offs as best as they could, but unfortunately they sunk in the semifinals. They lost in Game 4 against the Ottawa Charge. Coach Sparre has transferred to the new expansion team of the PWHL, Hamilton. Multiple players have been announced in the PWHL Awards for the season: Aerin Frankel, Haley Winn and Megan Keller.
Connecticut Sun:
Things are turning sunny side up for the New England WNBA team. After losing to them in their home opener, the Sun won against the Seattle Storm! Currently, the Sun are No. 15 in the conference and their record is 2-8. The Sun awarded Jonquel Jones as a “Sun Legend” and completed their game road trip with the Portland Fire.
Boston Banshees:
The rugby season has begun! The Banshees had their first match at the beginning of the month and will continue into the summer! So far, they have played in four matches and earned a total of seven points for the season. There is still so much rugby to play, though. Stay tuned!
Boston Legacy FC:
For the may-jority of the month, the Legacy has been ruling their schedule. Out of the six games they have played in, Boston had only two losses! This proves the club’s skills and teamwork have become stronger, and their efforts are truly paying off.
