The Boston Fleet are looking to extend their unbeaten streak as they visit New York.
On Sunday, Dec. 7, the Boston Fleet took down the Minnesota Frost at Agganis Arena with a 4-1 win. This extended the Fleet’s unbroken record to 4-0-0-0 as they sit on top of the standings with double the points of any given team. After a 10-day break and a two-game homestand, the Fleet will visit the New York Sirens on Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. ET. The game will take place in the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
The New York Sirens currently sit mid-table at 5th out of eight teams in the PWHL standings. They are coming off a scoreless loss to the Vancouver Goldeneyes back on Dec. 6. Now, with more than a 10-day break, they are looking to bounce back. The Sirens currently sit with a 2-0-0-3 record, giving them only a .400 win percentage.
Since the beginning of the PWHL, the Boston Fleet have an 8-2-1-0 record against the New York Sirens, giving them the statistical advantage. With the Fleet looking to continue their win streak, there is no doubt that they will play their cards wisely. The Sirens are also looking to move their way up the standings. This will for sure be an exciting matchup between two teams hungry for very different results. You can catch live action of this game beginning at 7 p.m. ET in the U.S. on NESN and MSG, and in Canada on TSN.
