The Women’s Lacrosse League is preparing for their upcoming season, and the Boston Guard are gearing up to take the title once more! As the first women’s lacrosse team to win the WLL Championship, the Guard have announced the members of their cavalry for the 2026 season.
In goal, we have returning player, No. 1 Rachel Hall. After becoming the holder of the fifth-place record spot for the most saves in school history, this Boston College graduate brings a lot to the table. This 5’5 Texas native will be representing New England once again as a brick wall in the net.
Also in goal is No. 19, Brittany Read. Joining the Guard, Read is ready to fight alongside her teammates! In her sole year at Oregon, she made a total of 179 saves, which set the single-season program record. Let’s see what she can accomplish with the Guard!
The goalies aren’t the only stars of the show, though! We have eleven field players that are ready to face off against any team that comes their way.
No. 3 Kasey Choma has been chosen as a Boston Guard midfielder. Choma was the second player to reach 200 and 250 goals in Notre Dame history. She also owns the all-time record for the most games played (85).
No. 7 Fallon Vaughn, a former Yale midfielder, returns to the Guard for another chance at taking home the champion title. This Massachusetts native holds true to her capital city this season!
No. 8 Charlotte North joins this offensive branch as well. North spent two seasons at Duke before transferring to Boston College. She won the national title while at BC and back-to-back Tewaaraton Awards. North has also represented Team USA in the 2022 Women’s World Championship!

At the 2022 Women’s World Championship, Arsenault scored six goals, helping Team USA win their fourth gold in a row!
Defender No. 20, Courtney Taylor, is a 5‘6 left-handed player who was on the Temple team before completing her collegiate career with Boston College. Taylor’s year with BC was eventful as she started every game and accrued 90 draw controls, 32 ground balls and 26 caused turnovers.
Notre Dame alumna Hannah Dorney is No. 22 on the Boston Guard! In her college career of five years, Dorney had 73 caused turnovers and119 ground balls. Let’s see what she can accomplish in the upcoming professional season!

Last in the line of jerseys, but certainly not least, is No. 31 Andie Aldave! Producing 162 points in her four years at Notre Dame, Aldave held her spot as a midfielder. But, in her graduate year, she headed to North Carolina, where she switched to attack and scored four goals in North Carolina’s 2022 National Championship victory!
The roster, as you can see, is stacked with top-notch athletes and we are extremely excited to watch the second season of WLL! Will the Boston Guard take the second year’s first-place title? We sure hope so!
