The Fleet’s winning streak has ended after their skate at TD Garden, read more below!
TD Garden was sold out with roughly 17,800 fans cheering for the Boston Fleet last night! Zdeno Chara dropped the ceremonial puck to signify the importance of a Garden game. Facing the Montreal Victoire, the Fleet took a loss when Victoire’s Lina Ljungblom, assisted by Laura Stacy, scored in the third period.
Focusing on defense, the Fleet held their own for the first two periods of the game. Aerin Frankel had 18 saves to keep the scores low, but that shot was the one to get away.
This has placed Montreal on top for the PWHL, four points ahead of Boston. It also broke the Fleet’s winning streak of five games.
Watch your Fleet face the Minnesota Frost on April 15 at 7 p.m. EDT!
