Weekly Wrap Up:

The PWHL has announced the newest expansion plans for the 2026-27 season! Adding two teams after their addition of Detroit, one will be in Hamilton, Ontario and the other in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a huge move for the league. Home games for Las Vegas will be at T-Mobile Arena and the Hamilton games will be at TD Coliseum.

Our very own, Jayd Serdy, has been announced as one of the mentors for the Sport Sisterhood Program! She says, “I’m super excited about this opportunity…sometimes I still feel like I need mentoring and don’t think that feeling will ever truly go away… things are always changing in the sports world. Having someone to lean on for support or bounce ideas off of or even just have as a resource is so important when you’re in the beginning stages of your career.” We are so proud of you, Jayd!

Unfortunately for the Boston hockey fans, the Fleet have ended their season after losing to the Ottawa Charge on May 10. The final score was 4-3 after two overtimes. The Fleet fought hard this season, showing so much promise for the future of the program!
