Bianca St-Georges: Canadian Star, Legacy Defender

Oh, Canada, Boston has taken this starred, courageous royal! Meet the Boston Legacy’s defender and see where she’s been prior to this NWSL season!

On July 28, 1997, in the Canadian town of Saint Charles Beromee, Quebec, this legend was born. Bianca St-Georges, daughter of Denis Doody and Michel St-Georges, grew up with two brothers and a sister. She attended high school at Georges-Vanier Secondary.

While she was in high school, St-Georges achieved quite a lot. At the 2011 Canadian Championship, she saw time with a club team. With Coach David Benning, she made her debut. In 2012 and 2013, she competed in the Canadian Championships, as well as the 2013 Canada Games. As a two-year member of the U-17 Canadian team, she started eight games and the team compiled a 4-3-1 record in two tournaments. St-Georges also won the silver medal at the 2013 CONCACAF U-17 Championship in Jamaica. The following year, she competed in the 2014 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica. The next year, she attended the Canada Women’s National Team EXCEL U-17-19 Camp. This was all prior to her collegiate career!

In the fall of 2015, Bianca St-Georges began her classes at West Virginia State University. She earned All-Big 12 Freshman team and Second team. She also earned Big 12 Freshman of the Year and Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team. In 2016, she was on the CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team, CoSIDA Academic All-District, Academic All-Big 12 First Team and started 13 of the 14 games. The next year, 2017, she was the team captain and team MVP. St-Georges earned spots on the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Second Team, CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team, CoSIDA Academic All-District, United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Second Team, United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region First Team, All-Big 12 First Team and Academic All-Big 12 First Team.

As a Chicago Red Star, St-Georges played for three seasons, scoring six goals and making three assists. So, it’s no question why in 2024 the North Carolina Courage wanted to snatch her up after her time with the Chicago Red Stars. During her time with the Courage, St-Georges played as a forward. She earned three goals and one assist during her total of 766 minutes played. In 2025, the Utah Royals scooped her off the roster to play for them. She continued as a forward for the Royals and her season was complete with 22 appearances, eight as a starter, and three goals with one assist. Now, she’s a Boston Legacy defender!

So far, Bianca St-Georges has started in eight games, but was subbed in one other. She has scored one goal but has shot a total of 10 times. Penalty-wise, she has received one yellow card and two red cards. While committing 10 fouls, she has also suffered 16.

As she plays with the Boston Legacy FC, we will get to watch her grow as a player with the help and support of the team and the fans! We cannot wait to see what she does with the rest of this season!
