The Boston Legacy head on the road looking to earn more points on the season.
Matchup: Kansas City Current vs. Boston Legacy FC
Date: Saturday, May 30, 2026
Time: 1:30 p.m. ET
Location: CPKC Stadium
In their last five games, the Kansas City Current have won four games and lost one. The Boston Legacy have won two, lost two and had a draw in one game. The Current enter this game in 6th place, while the Legacy are in 14th.
This matchup is the first time the two teams are kicking off against each other.
Key players to look out for are Temwa Chawinga and Ally Sentnor for the Kansas City Current. Chawinga missed the first few games of the season. Since her return, the forward has had six goals in seven games. Sentnor is always a force on offense, as she helps create chances. For the Legacy, Aïssata Traoré will look to get back on the scoring sheet, while defender Bianca St-Georges will look to bring her physicality.
Despite the shaky start the Legacy had to the season, they went on a five-game point-scoring streak before dropping their last game. If they can create space and find ways to score on this strong Current team, they can find a way to draw or win. Additionally, goalkeeper Casey Murphy will have to stand tall in net with support from her backline.
Tune in Saturday, May 30, at 1:30 p.m. ET on ION.
