The sophomore forward delivered a standout performance against Hockey East opponents as Northeastern’s season gets underway.
Stryker Zablocki, a sophomore forward from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, wasted little time making her mark on college hockey. After a standout freshman season at Northeastern University, she has continued to produce early in her sophomore campaign.
During the 2025-26 season, Zablocki led Northeastern with 44 points, recording 19 goals and 25 assists in 39 games. Her performance earned her Hockey East Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Scoring Champion honors, along with First Team All-Star and All-Rookie Team selections.
Zablocki carried that momentum into October, delivering an impressive performance during Northeastern’s opening weekend of Hockey East play.
On Oct. 9, she scored twice shorthanded in the second period of Northeastern’s 2-0 victory over Providence. Both goals came unassisted within 88 seconds of each other, helping secure the win for the Huskies.
Two days later, Zablocki recorded a goal and an assist in a 6-3 victory over New Hampshire. Her performance earned her Hockey East Co-Player of the Week recognition.
Zablocki continued her strong start on Oct. 17, scoring in Northeastern’s 5-1 win over Quinnipiac. Her goal came just 4:37 into the first period, helping the Huskies establish an early lead.
Through Northeastern’s first five games, Zablocki recorded five goals and four assists, continuing the offensive production that made her one of Hockey East’s standout players last season.
With her sophomore season underway, Zablocki is building on an impressive collegiate debut while remaining a key contributor to Northeastern’s lineup.
