The Boston Legacy face Racing Louisville on Oct. 16, 2026.
Following a two-week international break where the players went to their respective national teams and played friendlies, the NWSL is back in session and the Legacy are at Gillette Stadium hosting Louisville.
Both teams have nothing to play for since they’ve both been eliminated from playoff contention. Both the Legacy and Racing have a lot to figure out these last couple of games if they want to make it far next season.
Racing currently sits in second to last place with 24 points and a record of 7-13-17, while the Legacy are two places above Louisville with 29 points and a record of 8-5-14.
The last time these two teams met was in August at Louisville, when the Racing won 4-1. The Legacy are hoping to not let that happen again, while Racing hopes to keep that same momentum for the away game of this series.
